Liz Okogun -CDMP

Founder/CEO

Elizabeth Okogun is a former 100 and 200 meters sprinter. She is passionate about sports development and youth empowerment.
She is the Founder/CEO of Zinovation Sports, which is a sports Talent management and Advisory firm for young talents and Sports oriented businesses. She is currently the sub lead managing the Sports, Environment and Tourism group and a member of the eminent focal group under the Sports Industry Thematic Group (SITG) umbrella in the Nigerian Economic Summit (NESG).
Elizabeth was previously the Chief Strategy Officer of Continental Sports and Entertainment, pioneer Sports Executive at the Temple Management Company, she has also worked in Investment Banking with Chapel Hill Denham Group and Standard Chartered Bank as Client Services Manager for the Securities Services Business. Thus, her skill sets in portfolio management, operations and risk management.
Elizabeth is a certified Digital Marketing professional with the Digital Marketing Institute Ireland, she also has a sports industry certification from Columbia University New York.
She was the Project lead of the second cycle of the FIBA world cup qualifiers in September 2018, she has worked with many credible names in the sports industry such as Nigeria’s fastest man Seye Ogunlewe, Super Falcon’s Player Ebi Onome, Tennis Sensation Marylove Edwards, Veteran Footballer Emmanuel Amunike , the history making Nigerian Bobsled team, Eleven by Venus Williams and many more.
Elizabeth emphasizes on the importance of the integration of sports in our everyday lives, in 2015 she organized the first ever American Football game in Lagos which received wide acclaim and substantial local and international media coverage with record stadium attendance.
A founding executive of the Nigerian chapter of the African Women Honors and Empowerment body, she’s a dynamic women empowerment and networking advocate.
Elizabeth attended Atlantic Hall and Queen's College and has a Business Administration degree from Babcock University.
